Ben Collar and the WanderHosts team manage holiday lets across Yorkshire, the Peak District, the Lake District and North Wales. Different markets bring different booking patterns, so the team needs to coordinate promotions while keeping each property’s performance visible.

Managing promotions across the portfolio

Sisi automates their Booking.com promotion management. Airbnb analytics and the myDataValue dashboard bring performance across both channels into view, helping the team monitor booking pace, revenue and local rankings alongside their promotion decisions.

More bookings on both channels

We compared stays checking in during July 2026 with July 2025 across a group of properties. Each property had bookings on both channels in July 2025; properties with no completed bookings recorded in July 2026 remained in the comparison.

Booking.com

  • Booking value before commission increased from £43k to £63.5k (47.7%).
  • Bookings increased from 82 to 100 (22.0%).
  • Booked nights increased from 269 to 350 (30.1%).

Airbnb

  • Host earnings after Airbnb’s host fee increased from £38k to £43.9k (15.4%).
  • Bookings increased from 85 to 93 (9.4%).
  • Booked nights increased from 267 to 294 (10.1%).

These results cover the same group of properties on both channels. Booking.com booking value and Airbnb host earnings are shown separately because one is before commission and the other is after host fees.

The comparison uses recorded non-cancelled Booking.com reservations and completed Airbnb reservations with July check-in dates. Nights and financial amounts cover the full stays, including any nights in August. The year-on-year changes describe recorded performance; they do not isolate the effect of myDataValue from other changes in the business or market.

For Ben and the team, myDataValue brings promotion management and performance monitoring together across their portfolio.
