About the Host Planet Roadshow

Host Planet, James Varley’s community for UK short-term rental operators, is touring seven cities in 2026 with the Short Term Accommodation Association: Cornwall in February, then Portsmouth, London, Nottingham, Bath, Chester and Edinburgh in December. Each stop is one day of roundtables with 80 to 90 operators and no selling from the stage. Chester is hosted by Sykes Holiday Cottages at its head office, so the room is Sykes, its sister brands and property managers from across the north-west. On the agenda: Graham Donoghue of Forge Holiday Group on where the group is using AI, Janet Uttley of the STAA on registration and the tourism levy, the 12:00 pricing panel, a PMS panel with Hostaway, SuperControl, Guesty and Avantio, and an afternoon roundtable competition.
