myDataValue

Troubleshoot the myDataValue MCP connector

Fixes for common problems, and how to revoke access or recover a lapsed subscription.

Find the symptom you see below, grouped by when it happens. Each one says why it happens and what to do. The last two sections cover revoking an assistant’s access and what happens when your subscription lapses.

Connecting your assistant

Claude says “Sign-in not required” and shows only Market Operator Counts

Claude added myDataValue without sign-in, so it sees only the one public tool and none of your team’s data.

Add myDataValue as a custom connector with sign-in on, as described under Claude: choose Sign in now and Register automatically. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, ask your workspace owner to add it.

myDataValue’s tools are missing in the conversation

The connector is off for this conversation, or the session started before you connected.

  1. In Claude, turn on myDataValue in the conversation’s connectors.
  2. Start a new conversation or session.
  3. If the tools are still missing, connect again: select Connect in Claude, run /mcp in Claude Code, or run codex mcp login mydatavalue in Codex.

If only one workflow or tool is missing, it may not be released for your team yet. Which tools you get also depends on the permissions you approved and your team’s access.

Claude Code does not list myDataValue

Claude Code shares your Claude connector only when you sign in with the same Claude account through your Claude subscription. With an API key or another provider, it does not see the connector.

Sign in with that account, or add myDataValue from the terminal. Your workspace policy can also block a server you add.

Signing in to your team

Your team is not in the list

The account you signed in with is not a member of that team.

  • Select Switch account on the sign-in screen and sign in with the account that belongs to the team.
  • Or ask a team admin to invite you under Settings → Members. Once you have confirmed your email address, the invitation shows on the sign-in screen with Join.

If the screen says the API isn’t enabled for any of your teams yet, your account belongs to no team: ask a team admin to invite you, or request access.

Your team is listed but cannot be chosen

The team has no access, and its free trial cannot start here.

  • Subscription page next to “subscription not active”: the team’s subscription lapsed or its trial was already used. A team admin restores it there, then you sign in again.
  • “no access yet”: your myDataValue contact can help restore access.

Your assistant says the connection lacks a permission

The connection was approved before that permission was offered; choosing comp-set competitors on an older connection is one example. Connect again and approve the permissions on the sign-in screen, then revoke the old connection.

Asking questions

Your assistant finds no properties

An empty answer does not mean you have no business. Nothing may be connected yet, an import may still be running, or a Booking.com or Airbnb login may have expired. Ask:

What is left to set up in myDataValue?

Your assistant checks your setup and gives you the next step. You connect accounts under Connections → Accounts in the app.

Some answers need the account holder’s own Booking.com or Airbnb login, and myDataValue has none that works for that account. Your assistant cannot sign in for you.

Open the link. It takes you to Connections → Accounts in the app, where you sign in to the account in your own browser. Then tell your assistant you are done. Never paste the password into the chat.

Revoke an assistant

A connection lasts until you revoke it. To remove one:

  1. In the app, open Connections → AI assistants.
  2. Under Connected assistants, find the assistant. Each row shows its name, the permissions it holds and the date it connected.
  3. Select Revoke, then Revoke again in the Revoke access? dialog.

Revoking removes the assistant’s access immediately and cannot be undone; to use it again, connect it again. It does not touch your Booking.com or Airbnb connections.

The list shows only your own connections to the team you are in, so switch to the team a connection reads to find it. Your myDataValue contact can also revoke a connection for you.

When your subscription lapses

If your team’s subscription or trial lapses, for example after a failed payment, every question returns a message saying the subscription isn’t active, with a link to your team’s subscription page.

  1. A team admin opens the subscription page from that link. Only team admins can open it, so a member asks an admin.
  2. The admin restores the subscription there, or pays the open invoice after a failed payment.

Reconnecting your assistant does not help. Once the subscription is active, the same connection works again with nothing lost.

While the subscription is inactive, the AI assistants page is unavailable. To revoke a connection during that time, ask your myDataValue contact.
